First day of training

Summary

No Borders Humanity Organization (NBH)  held a training of Trainers Course ( TOT) with the participation of  (30 ) young men and women representing a diverse spectrum of civil activists, media and lawyers for the purpose of enhancing knowledge and acquiring skills in the field of the following concepts :

  1. Human rights
  2. Citizenship
  3. Civil society
  4. The state
  5. Analysis of the relationships between the basic frameworks
  6. .Rights-based development
  7. The relationship between civil society and gender
  8. The relationship between civil society and citizenship
  9. Screening of a documentary film on citizenship-Singapore’s experience of evolution

* Divide the participants into working groups for the purpose of a case study for the purpose of identifying the problem and finding solutions to this problem

* The work groups presented the results of their work

* The number of training hours is 10 continuous hours (08:30-05:00)

The participants were equipped with stationery and training bags (a training manual for the concept of citizenship, civil society, and the state) and a brochure on the mechanisms of reporting corruption, including information on (the concept of corruption and its types –the right to Information – international agreements such as the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, as well as the numbers of the federal integrity commission.

The training process was led by Mr. Raed al-Awsi, training expert and media manager at the Office of the Independent High Electoral Commission

The trainer worked to break the deadlock among the participants through the use of various training methods and was able to communicate information easily and simply and make the training atmosphere comfortable for the participants, which contributed to achieving the goal of the activity by comparing the initial test –and the test after training.
