- The event was organized at Al-Basha Conference Hall, where the venue was prepared to accommodate participants.
- The hall was arranged to provide comfort to the participants and ensure good ventilation.
- Distribution of Awareness Materials:
- Brochures and campaign booklets containing important information on healthcare and disease prevention were distributed to all participants within the hall.
- The content of the awareness materials was discussed directly with the participants to ensure understanding of the health messages.
Main Message:
The event focused on enhancing health awareness among community members. The main message was: “Health is a shared responsibility. Let us join together to raise awareness about diseases, promote preventive measures, and improve healthcare practices to achieve better health for Dhi Qar Governorate.”
Results and Evaluation:
- Number of Participants: The number of participants was 30 individuals, including women, girls, and youth of various ages.
- Distribution of Materials: 30 brochures and 30 booklets were distributed, with confirmation that each participant received a copy of the awareness materials.
- Interaction and Participation: Participants showed clear interest in the topics discussed and requested more information and details about health-related issues.
Recommendations:
- Increase Interaction: It is recommended to continue organizing awareness activities in comfortable and suitable locations for weather conditions, providing targeted content that responds to community interests.
- Engage with Beneficiaries: Follow-up on participants’ feedback should be conducted to gather their evaluations and suggestions for improving future activities.
Conclusion:
Despite the challenges related to high temperatures and street protests due to dissatisfaction with local government performance in service provision, the event at Al-Basha Conference Hall was successful in enhancing health awareness among community members. We hope this event contributes to improving healthcare practices and providing important information to the local community.
