Project Name: Advocacy in Motion (AIM).
General Objective of the Session:
- To enhance teamwork and cooperation among various community stakeholders to address health and environmental issues in Dhi Qar Governorate through interactive dialogue sessions aimed at developing effective action plans and advocacy campaigns.
Activity Summary: No Borders Humanity Organization, in partnership with the Global Health Council, organized an interactive dialogue session targeting a diverse group of participants from different professional and community backgrounds. Participants were divided into small discussion groups to delve into four major health issues facing Dhi Qar Governorate, identify clear objectives for each issue, and develop action plans and advocacy campaigns.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Welcome to the third dialogue session of the “Advocacy in Motion” (AIM) project. At No Borders Humanity Organization, we are very proud of our partnership with the Global Health Council (GHC) and your continued support. Your presence today reflects our shared commitment to improving health and environmental conditions in Dhi Qar Governorate. We hope this session will be an effective platform for exchanging ideas and experiences and those we come out with practical recommendations that contribute to achieving our common goals.

Activity Summary:
The third dialogue session of the “Advocacy in Motion” (AIM) project was held with the aim of enhancing cooperation and understanding among various stakeholders in health and agriculture in Dhi Qar Governorate. The session highlighted the health and environmental problems in the governorate and how to address them through collective work and volunteer initiatives.
Objective:
- To raise awareness about the main health and environmental issues in Dhi Qar.
- To exchange experiences and knowledge among participants.
- To develop practical recommendations to address the discussed challenges.
Agenda of the Dialogue Session:

- Introduction to Health Issues in Dhi Qar Governorate (diseases – epidemics – causes)
- Importance of Health Awareness and Developing Mechanisms to Enhance Local Health Awareness in Dhi Qar Governorate
- Division of Participants into Discussion Groups
- Discussion of Health Issues within Groups
- Development of Action Plans and Advocacy Campaigns
- Presentation of Group Results
- Final Recommendations
- Session Closure
Outcomes:
Participants were divided into four small working groups to address four health issues in Thi Qar Governorate:
- Group One (Ur Team):
Issue: Effects of sewage in Dhi Qar
- Group Two (Experts Team):
Issue: Risks of hemorrhagic fever
- Group Three (Media Awareness Team):
Issue: Unhealthy foods
- Group Four (Seeds of Hope Team):
Issue: Lack of tree planting
Final Recommendations:
- Enhance coordination among all concerned parties to address health and environmental issues.
- Provide financial and technical support to local organizations to implement action plans and advocacy campaigns.
- Continuous monitoring and evaluation to measure the impact of activities and achieve set objectives.
Conclusion: The dialogue session was effective in enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences among participants. It was agreed on the importance of following up on the recommendations to ensure the achievement of objectives and improvement of health and environmental conditions in Dhi Qar Governorate. Group photos were taken, and health awareness brochures and booklets were distributed to participants.
